Handwoven in authentic Gadwal silk from Gadwal, the saree features a rich dark brown body woven with checks filled with floral and peacock motifs. The checks bring structure, the multicolour detailing adds life, and the peacocks lend traditional symbolism without making the design feel heavy-handed. The small contrast border, detailed with a floral jaal, frames the saree neatly. It doesn’t compete with the body. It complements it. Clean, restrained, intentional. The drape is completed with a mustard pallu finished in cross-line patterns, adding warmth and contrast while grounding the darker tones beautifully.
